Fennel Seed Oil

Fennel Seed Oil is distilled from the botanical Foeniculum Vulgare. This plant is native to Southern Europe and Asia minor. It has been used since centuries  among the Egyptians and the Romans. They used to utilize this oil for its spiritual, emotional and  medicinal purposes. It has a rich aroma reminiscent of anise which gives fennel oil its liquorice-like scent. It is abundantly used in soaps, candles and perfumes.

Fennel seed essential oil  is excellent for cleansing the body of toxins due to excesses of food, alcohol etc. and is considered to be a tonic for the digestive system. 

It has many chemical constituents but the main chemical content is trans-anethole which is around 52%.

Method of Extraction :

It is distilled by steam distillation method of the Seeds.
