Bergamot Oil

Bergamot essential oil is produced in Italy at a large scale. Its Biological name is Citrus Bergamia. It is a citrus fruit and known for its essential oil and it is obtained from the fresh peel of the fruit  of citrus bergamia.

Bergamot tree is a cross between the lemon and the orange, giving the small, round fruit a slight pear-shaped and a yellow colouring. It is an ever green tree and its essential oil is commonly used in culinary and perfumery application as well as has many therapeutic benefits. Its main chemical components are Limonene(34-52%) and Linalool Acetate(22-34%)

Method of Extraction :

It is obtained by cold pressed method.
