Kapoor Kachri Oil

Our mother earth contains a range of valuable herbs and the kapoor kachri is one of them. Kapoor kachri essential oil is derived from the rhizomes' of  hedychium spicatum which is native to India, China, Thailand and Myanmar. It is a small, hardy perennial that grows to around 1m, with green leaves and large orange and white flower. It is also commonly known as spiked ginger lily or perfume ginger. It has been used in various traditions for treating numerous health benefits. The Ayurvedic healing system uses this herb for curing respiratory problems, poor blood circulation, wound and inflammation. It is majorly used in hair growth and curing hair related problems. It also imparts a perfume aroma to hair.

Ayurveda prescribes Kapoor kachri for the treatment of swelling, asthma, fever and pain. However, it should be remembered that this herb is for external use only. The powder of this herb this very popular across India as an antimicrobial agent and brain laxative.
